At Pizza Factory, we do franchisee training and support a little differently. We believe that our franchisees deserve the guidance, and support to build a pizza restaurant that’s deeply connected to its community, while still having all the tools they need to scale or expand to new markets and locations. The franchise training and support program includes time in an active Pizza Factory location, training on marketing and technology, and culinary training, setting us apart in the pizza franchise segment.
How Does Pizza Factory Train Franchisees?
What support do franchisors provide franchisees when they’re first starting out? Every new Pizza Factory owner begins with our restaurant franchise training program. You’ll spend four days learning from chef Bryan Ross, our Director of Food & Beverage and Culinary Training. With 30 years of experience at Pizza Factory, Bryan has trained dozens of Pizza Factory franchisees, and he’s dedicated to ensuring you know everything you need to know about making great pizza from fresh ingredients.
After your time in the kitchen, you’ll move on to three weeks of in-store training with an active franchisee. This immersive experience covers everything from day-to-day operations and customer service to team management and community engagement. This period also consists of a day of dedicated marketing and accounting training at the Pizza Factory headquarters in Oakhurst, CA. By the time your training is complete, you’ll have the hands-on knowledge and confidence you need to run your own Pizza Factory.
What Kind of Support Does Pizza Factory Provide Franchisees After Opening?
Pizza Factory’s franchise support doesn’t stop when your doors open. We always want to provide ongoing assistance to all our franchisees to ensure you always have the tools you need. Here’s what that looks like:
- Operational Support: With resources like dedicated franchise business coaches and an active franchise advisory council, when you have questions about running your pizza franchise, we can provide answers. We also host weekly webinars, regional meetings, and system-wide conventions for franchisees to learn from one another.
- Marketing Support: Tailoring your marketing strategy to your community is important, which is why we provide omni-channel advertising resources and local store marketing materials to our franchisees. With our help, you can spend less time worrying about promotions and more time connecting with customers.
Why is Franchise Training and Support Important?
Pizza Factory is a community-first franchise system built on the owner/operator model, so we care deeply about supporting our franchisees and making sure they’re equipped to efficiently run their location. Our franchisees are leaders who know their customers, support their neighbors, and set the tone in their restaurants. That model works best when Pizza Factory franchisees are equipped with the knowledge, resources, and support to lead with confidence.
From the kitchen to the community, Pizza Factory’s franchise training and support are designed to give every operator the restaurant know-how they need, no matter their background. We’re tossing pizzas and building businesses that matter. Fill out our inquiry form today!
