Lisa Roscoe Joins Pizza Factory as CEO to Lead a New Era of Franchise Growth

Lisa Roscoe

Pizza Factory is entering a new era of executive leadership, which means a fresh phase for franchisees. We’re thrilled to share that Lisa Roscoe has joined Pizza Factory as our new Chief Executive Officer, bringing decades of restaurant and franchise expertise to guide the brand into our next chapter. She’s committed to delivering even more hands-on support to Pizza Factory franchisees, whether they’re longtime owners or new to the brand.

Roscoe is stepping into the CEO role at an exciting time: in January of 2025, Pizza Factory became part of Wonder Franchises, changing the game for our franchisees across the West. Between Wonder’s support and Lisa’s experience, we’re moving on to the next stage of Pizza Factory, one that combines the same community-driven business model that we’ve always stood by with a reinvigorated outlook on growth.

Who is the Pizza Factory CEO?

Lisa Roscoe’s background includes significant roles in both franchise development and operational leadership. She has held legal and real estate development roles for major brands like Tim Hortons and St. Louis Bar & Grill, and most recently served as VP of Real Estate Development at Outfront Media—and now, she’s moving into the pizza franchise world. Her experience blends deep operational insight with a talent for building relationships, making her the perfect fit for Pizza Factory’s people-first franchising culture.

As she transitions into the Pizza Factory CEO role, Roscoe’s approach is to protect what makes Pizza Factory special, elevate it, and ensure franchisees feel supported both through her leadership transition and after. “There’s so much heart here,” Roscoe says. “I want to protect that, invest in innovation, and make sure every initiative we roll out is designed to help our restaurants thrive.”

Honoring a Strong Legacy

Roscoe follows in the footsteps of Mary Jane Riva, who served as Pizza Factory CEO for over a decade and led the franchise through an era of growth and modernization. Riva will continue as a trusted advisor to Roscoe and the Wonder Franchises team, ensuring a smooth transition and a strong link to the brand’s history.

“Lisa is exactly the kind of leader I had hoped would step into this role,” Riva says. “She’s thoughtful, approachable, and genuinely invested in supporting our franchisees.” Moving forward, the two will work together to preserve the hometown values that guide the Pizza Factory franchise system, while prioritizing increased operational efficiency and local marketing to bring the brand to the next level.

How does Pizza Factory support its owners?

For current and future Pizza Factory owners, Roscoe’s arrival means a renewed focus on support. Here’s what that looks like:

  • Strong franchisee-franchisor relationships
  • Refined, scalable operational systems
  • Elevated brand standards
  • Investment in local store marketing and community engagement

With 40+ years of brand history, strong unit economics, and a flexible store footprint, Pizza Factory is uniquely positioned for growth across the West and beyond under Roscoe’s leadership.

As Adam Lewin, CEO of Wonder Franchises, puts it, “Lisa’s leadership is exactly what we need to build on the strong foundation Mary Jane developed and to reach new heights.” With this leadership change underway, Pizza Factory is poised for growth, without sacrificing the community-first franchise model that makes us special.
